Our Office
The office of Dr. Walton S. Peery is a family and cosmetic dental practice located in southeast Charlotte NC. Our convenient location at 330 Billingsley Road, Suite 200, is just one block off Randolph Road, and a short drive to either Cotswold Mall or uptown.
Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to noon. If you would like to schedule an appointment with Dr. Peery, please contact the office at (704) 365-4142 or info@waltonspeerydds.com.
Dr. Peery established the practice in 1978 and since then has strived to create a relaxed and professional environment to make his patients always feel comfortable with the dental procedures provided. We take time to listen to you and customize a treatment plan that is perfectly suited to your individual needs.
Our staff is a team of knowledgeable, experienced and caring professionals who enjoy their work and endeavor to make each dental visit comfortable and pleasant for our patients. We use the latest equipment and techniques, including high-tech sterilization methods that meet or exceed all established guidelines by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for blood borne pathogen and North Carolina’s Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology program, both of which require annual training updates. Total Medical Compliance, a widely respected consulting firm, comes on site to inspect and to update our training.
About Dr. Peery
Dr. Walton Peery earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974 then continued his education at Emory University to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1978. He went into full-time practice in Charlotte, NC in 1978.
He is a member in good standing with the American Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, the Charlotte Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He continues to pursue his interest in all areas of dentistry, completing more than 700 hours of postgraduate classroom education so far.
Dr. Peery and his wife, of 30 plus years, have three adult children. He is a native of Charlotte, and an active member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church.
Our Team
Suzanne Anthony, RDH
Suzanne is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dental Hygiene and has been with our practice since 1978.
Patricia Anderson, RDH
Patti received her dental hygiene degree from Armstrong State College in Savannah, GA. She began active practice in 1982 and joined our team in 2003.
Kathy Barbee, DA2
Kathy graduated from the dental assisting program at Central Piedmont Community College – Charlotte in 1974, and has been with our team since 1987.
Laura Cuthbertson, RDH
Laura received her dental hygiene degree from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC in 1973. She is an active member of the Metrolina Dental Hygiene Society, the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and North Carolina Dental Hygiene Association. She has been with our office since 1989.
Susan Ford
Susan earned her CMA from Kings College in 1983 and joined our staff in 1984.
