Patricia Anderson Registered Dental Hygienist
Patti received her dental hygiene degree from Armstrong State College in Savannah, GA and is currently pursuing a BA in health communication at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She began active practice in 1982 and joined our team in 2003. Patti truly loves interacting with patients and building lasting patient relationships.
She’s married with two grown sons. Outside the office, Patti enjoys cycling, Pilates, walking, hiking, traveling, photography, and reading.
Kathy Barbee Dental Assistant 2
Kathy graduated from the dental assisting program at Central Piedmont Community College in 1974 and has been with our team since 1987. Her passion is patient care, and she serves an integral role in assisting Dr. Peery in a broad range of procedures.
Kathy is married with one daughter and a proud grandmother! She likes to read, craft, and spend time with her family. She’s also a Carolina Panthers fan.
Laura Cuthbertson Registered Dental Hygienist
Laura received her dental hygiene degree from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC in 1973 and has been working in our office since 1989. Laura is an active member of the Metrolina Dental Hygiene Society, American Dental Hygienists’ Association, North Carolina Dental Hygiene Association, and North Carolina Dental Hygiene Academy of Advanced Studies. She values the opportunity to work closely with patients to provide compassionate care focused on long-lasting oral health.
Married with two sons, Laura spends her spare time with volunteering at NC Missions of Mercy clinics and enjoys time at the beach with her family.
Susan Ford Receptionist/Office Manager
Susan earned her CMA from Kings College in 1983 and joined our staff in 1984. She’s a certified medical assistant who keeps our office running smoothly. Susan is a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International and a deacon at Bethel Presbyterian Church. She enjoys the patient interaction her job allows and helps patients understand scheduling, billing, insurance, and more.
Susan is married and has a daughter attending Appalachian State. When not at the office, she devotes her time to her church and her family. Susan enjoys spending time at Lake Norman and cheering on the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
Penny Beaver Registered Dental Hygienist
Penny received her dental hygiene degree from Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC in 1983 and joined our practice in 2013. She was destined for a career in dentistry, given that her father was a dentist in High Point for more than 50 years, working side by side with her mother who doubled as an office manager and a dental assistant.
Penny has an adult daughter and enjoys cooking, walking, reading, and her pets.
